Make sure the computer is turned off before beginning!

1. Find your ENET card in the computer. It most likely will look like this: .

2. Plug the ENET cable into the modem here: and the computer here: .

3. Next plug in the power cord for the modem here: .Do not plug the modem power adapter into the wall. Make sure the power button is off (make sure all the lights on the front are out).

4. Plug the phone cord in the phone outlet to the surge suppresser input and the other end goes from the surge suppresser output to the modem’s DSL jack .

5. The last thing to do is turn the computer on, wait until the Power Light goes green and the DSL light is lit solid, then turn on the computer.

IMPORTANT! The modem goes through a short self-test, about 2 minutes, and then the power light (PWR), the DSL light (DSL) and the (ENET) Light should be on if the modem is hooked up properly.
