How
to setup static IP address for LAN connection
on MAC OSX
1.From
the Apple menu, select System Preferences.

2. In the System Preferences window, click
Network. If you do not see this icon,
click Show All
to reveal all the settings categories.

3.In the menu next to "Configure:" (10.0.x)
or "Show:" (10.1.x or later),
select the Ethernet option, usually
termed Built-in
Ethernet.

4.Click the TCP/IP tab, and next to "Configure:" or "Configure
IPv4:", select "Manually".

5.In the "IP Address:" field,
enter the IP address for your computer.
6.In the "Subnet Mask:" field,
enter:
a. 255.255.255.0
7.Next to "Router:", enter your router's
IP address. By convention, this
address will be the same as your computer's
IP address,
except that the last number will
be 1. So,
if your computer's IP address is
10.1.1.33, your router's IP address will be
10.1.1.1.
If this doesn't work, contact technical
support.
8.In the "Domain Name Servers:" or "DNS
Servers" field, enter these
numbers:
b. 204.89.253.1
c. 204.89.253.2
9.Under "Search Domains", enter the
following:
d. Bluemarble.net
10.Click the Save (10.0.x) or Apply
Now (10.1.x or later) button. You
will immediately be
able to use your network connection.
